Koehler’s got some moves

New Zephyrs starting pitcher Tom Koehler obviously has a bright future ahead of him, having led the Southern League with 16 wins a year ago and being named the circuit’s Most Outstanding Pitcher.

But if things somehow don’t work out for him on the mound, maybe he has a chance at another career – dancing.

The entire Zephyrs team attended Sunday night’s Hornets game, and during the Dance Cam contest during one of the timeouts, Koehler’s moves made their way onto the big screen. The crowd voted him the winner, much to the delight of Elih Villanueva and the rest of Koehler’s teammates.

Speaking of the Hornets, the second “Zephyrs Night at the Hive” is this Friday night when the Hornets face the Phoenix Suns. Boudreaux will be on hand with special Zephyrs giveaways, and will be involved in some baseball-themed promotions during timeouts.
