Morrison to DL, Mitchell added
First baseman Logan Morrison, who has battled a shoulder injury since colliding with Round Rock’s Matt Kata last Monday, was placed on the disabled list today. Lee Mitchell, who played in 21 games with the Zephyrs late last season, was promoted from Class AA Jacksonville.
We’re watching the radar, hoping things stay clear for tonight’s series opener with the Nashville Sounds. Weather (and wind) permitting, we’ll have fireworks after the game, along with a concert.
