The Z’s head west and begin a series
tonight at the “Biggest Little City in the World” Reno.  A new stop on the PCL Tour.  Reno
replaces Tucson.
 The first of a 8 game set, 4 in Reno
and 4 in Vegas.  Advice to the Zephyr
players, don’t lose all your money gambling.

 

The Marlins have had rough week, especially
the bullpen.  Florida
promoted a pair of pitchers on Thursday. 
Dave Davidson leaves the Z’s to join the Fish and Florida
also promoted a starting pitcher from Jacksonville,
Cristhan Martinez. 

 

So the Z’s play Thursday shorthanded.  Come Friday the Z’s will make several roster
moves. CF Alejandro DeAza and P John Koronka will return from Florida.  The Z’s have also signed free agent pitcher Clay
Hensley.  Z’s reliever Carlos Martinez was
expected to join New Orleans
but is ill and will goto the DL.  Plenty
of more moves to come.

their team for winning the Z’s United Way Golf Tourney on Wednesday.
