Badenhop to the Bigs!
The Z’s have dropped 5 in a row and now tonights scheduled starting
pitcher gets called up. RH Burke Badenhop gets the call and will join
the Marlins in Pittsburgh. He will replace the injured Andrew Miller.
He has a strained right oblique and has been placed on the 15 day DL.

6.75 ERA in two starts with the Z’s, the Marlins will have him pitch out of the bullpen
Tuesday and could get the start Sunday against the Phillies.

The Z’s open a series in Round Rock tonight and lefty John Koronka will get the start. The Z’s have also added #15 Levale Speigner from Class AA Jacksonville. He appeared in seven games last season with the Nationals.
