A Bumpy Beginning

Well, that wasn’t the best way to start the home schedule….

A 9-0 loss on Opening Night at Zephyr Field did not dampen the spirits
of the crowd, however, as we saw “the wave” get going in the eighth
inning, and a fantastic fireworks display to round out the night.

There’s lots more going on the rest of Opening Weekend, with a hat
giveaway tonight from People’s Health, to Bark In The Park tomorrow
with a playground ball giveaway from Coca-Cola. And things can only get
better from here for the boys on the field!

We’ll see you at the Shrine tonight at 6:00!

Two losses to open the homestand has been a disappointment but that happens! The hitting will comeback!!!! The field/facilitys looked great! They had a nice crowd on Friday, Saturday was less thou. I thoght the crowd would be bigger! All-n -all the give aways were nice, the food and drink were good and the game was good. Todays game will be great with the first home win!
