Roster Taking Shape
With Opening Day now less than two weeks away at the Major League
level, teams are beginning to trim the list of candidates for the
rosters clubs will use when they head north (or, in the case of the
Marlins, south).
The Marlins (and Zephyrs) bullpen picture became slightly less murky yesterday when left-handed pitcher Taylor Tankersley was optioned to New Orleans. This leaves Renyel Pinto, Dan Meyer and John Koronka as possibilities to be lefties out of the bullpen for Florida.
Here at home, there was a solid turnout for the job fair and open house
on Saturday. More than 300 applicants showed up hoping to fill open
positions at Zephyr Field, while on the field, kids and adults alike
took batting practice. Thanks to all who came out.

It was a beautiful day, my seats were a little dusty but still there! I did have a beer and enjoy the kids hitting and the field look good!
